To create your first report, click on the first icon in the Navigation bar to the left.

In the popup window that appears, set the name and choose the data sources you wish to use for the report. The list of data sources contains  the advertising channels that have been integrated in your company. You can select any number of channels in a report. Note that analytics sources are not visible here, since they're directly joined with each advertising channel. 

You can also choose the metrics and dimensions to include in this report. We strongly recommend enabling this option and choosing the relevant ones, as that will help your report building process/exploration be a lot more focused and decluttered. We also recommend creating a metric group for KPIs and picking that while choosing metrics.

Once that's done, click on the "Create Report" button. A new report with an empty tab is created.

To add a widget, simply click on the "+ New Widget" button. 

You are then taken to the widget creation view. 

To add dimensions, click on the "Dimensions" button, and search for the required dimension using the search box. You can also choose a dimension from the list, which is grouped by advertising channel. Click on 'Apply' once you've chosen the dimensions. For this report, we will choose "Channel" as our dimension.

To add metrics, click on the "Metrics" button, and search for the required metrics using the search box. You can also choose a metric from the list, which is grouped by advertising/analytics channel. Click on 'Apply' once you've chosen them. For this report, we will choose "Total Spend" and "GA: Revenue" as our metrics.

To add a breakdown, click on the breakdowns icon, and search for the required breakdown using the search box. Click on 'Apply' once you've chosen them. For this report, we will choose "Week" as our breakdown. To view the broken down data, click on the ">" symbol next to the dimension values. 

Once you have added the chosen dimensions, metrics and breakdowns, click on "Done". 

You can then select the date range for which you wish to display the data. To do so, click on the date range box on the top bar, select the desired date range, and click 'Apply'.
