Connecting Trade Doubler on Clarisights
Trade Doubler is an affiliate marketing platform that helps brands grow through performance-based partnerships with publishers. Connecting Trade Doubler to Clarisights lets you analyse program performance, publisher contribution, transactions, and commissions side-by-side with your paid media, so you can see how affiliate channels stack up against the rest of your marketing spend.
Set up by Clarisights: Trade Doubler is not available as a self-serve tile on the Integrations page. To connect it, contact your Clarisights account manager. You prepare the Trade Doubler credentials described below and the Clarisights team completes the connection for you.

Prerequisites
An active Trade Doubler advertiser account at connect.tradedoubler.com
API client credentials issued from Trade Doubler under Tools → API Info → Clients → Add new client. Capture the Client ID and Client Secret.
A Trade Doubler login (username and password) with read access to advertiser programs, statistics, transactions, and digital wallets
If your Trade Doubler account is run as a PVN (network), use the Trade Doubler PVN integration instead of this one
Steps to Connect
Step 1: Generate Trade Doubler API credentials
Sign in to Trade Doubler Connect, open Tools → API Info → Clients, and add a new client. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret. You will also need the username and password of a Trade Doubler user that has access to the programs you want to report on.
[TODO: Screenshot needed: Trade Doubler API Info / Clients page]
Treat the Client Secret and password like passwords. They grant read access to every program linked to the advertiser.
Step 2: Ask Clarisights to connect Trade Doubler
Contact your Clarisights account manager (or support from the in-app messenger) and ask for Trade Doubler to be connected. Share the Client ID, Client Secret, username and password through the secure channel your account manager provides. Do not paste them into a regular chat or email thread.
Step 3: Programs are added automatically
Once the credentials are in place, Clarisights checks that they sign in to Trade Doubler and adds every active program linked to your advertiser as an account. Each program keeps its native currency in Trade Doubler, while amounts are reported in your Clarisights company currency.
⚠ Credentials rejected → Confirm the Client ID and Client Secret are correct and not revoked, and that the username and password sign in cleanly at connect.tradedoubler.com. If the password was rotated recently, share the new one with your account manager.
Verify the connection
Your Clarisights account manager confirms when the programs are connected.
First data appears at the next scheduled refresh (within about 24 hours).
Quick start: create a new report, add Trade Doubler as the data source, and add Program · Publisher · Clicks · Sales · Commission Total.

Limitations & known constraints
Set up by Clarisights: there is no self-serve Trade Doubler tile on the Integrations page. Connections, credential updates and extra backfills go through your Clarisights account manager.
3-day rolling window: each scheduled run pulls today and the previous 3 days. Older corrections (for example, late commission status changes outside that window) need a backfill, which your account manager can request.
API rate limits: Trade Doubler limits how quickly its API can be queried, so advertisers with many programs may see longer refresh times.
Hierarchy mapping: Trade Doubler's hierarchy is Program → Publisher → Source. Clarisights shows Source (Site) as Ad Group and the Trade Doubler ad from the transactions report as Ad.
Currency conversion is done by Trade Doubler: Clarisights requests reports in your company currency and Trade Doubler converts the amounts, so values may differ slightly from those shown in the Trade Doubler UI in the program's native currency.
Operating notes
Refresh schedule: daily, with a lookback of today plus 3 days to catch late-attributed transactions.
Multi-account: a single set of Trade Doubler credentials covers every program linked to the advertiser. Programs added in Trade Doubler after the initial connection are discovered and added on the next refresh.
Currency conversion: handled by Trade Doubler at request time. To change the reporting currency, update your Clarisights company currency.
Credential rotation: access tokens refresh automatically. If the password or Client Secret changes, share the new values with your Clarisights account manager.
