Overview of report structure
The first time you login, you'll be taken to the first report in alphabetic order that you have access to. All reports in Clarisights have a similar structure with the name of the report on the top left and the date range selector on the top right.
Sharing & access levels
The message at the center, in the top of your window shows whether your changes to the report are being saved or not. You can view detailed sharing settings for the report by heading over to the share option next to the name of the report.
The top right database icon shows you the data sources included in the report and if you're the creator, you can also change the data sources used. Changing the data sources used may affect the information you are looking at in that specific report only.
Tabs
Every report in Clarisights is like a container where you can organize multiple tabs and individual widgets in those tabs. Each tab can be filtered for a subset of information and each widget in that tab can be further filtered for the specific insight that you'd want to show.
Finding reports
You can search for reports that you have access to using the search icon in the left panel or "Ctrl/Cmd + K"
All reports that you have access to will be listed under the "Shared Reports" section and reports that you create yourself will be available in the "My Reports" section. Any reports that you "Star" will be available in the "Starred Reports" section.
This was an introduction to the reporting interface on Clarisights. Head over to the next sections in the self-starter guide to understand Dimensions, Metrics and using them in Widgets to explore insights.
